Dr. Steven Berryhill Jr. is a higher education professional & an esteemed educational consultant, speaker, and author.
Dr. Berryhill travels around the country motivating people and organizations to reach their full potential by helping them to develop and adopt proven skills, methods, and practices such as leadership, motivation, confidence, goal planning, and effective communication that lead to long-term improvement and success. Through his higher education lens and expertise, he is able to deliver powerful presentations and messages that directly connects with, inspires, and positively impacts educators, students, businesses, and organizations.
Dr. Berryhill founded SBJ LEADERSHIP, LLC in 2024, which focuses on a variety of educational consulting services such as professional development trainings for educators and students, tailored educational, motivational, and leadership workshops, education advocacy, and curriculum and policy development.
He received his Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University, and both his Master's in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor's in Mathematics from Tennessee State University.

Founded in 2024, SBJL has already been deemed one of Tennessee’s most promising new educational ventures by esteemed educators, executives, speakers, and education advocates. In the company’s first year alone, it has already worked with and partnered with established leaders, clients, companies, institutes, and southern school districts.
As the company continues to grow and expand, Dr. Berryhill will continue to use his vision to lead SBJL’s team of educators and consultants in developing leadership trainings and workshops for all ages and business types to help people and organizations set strategic goals to accomplish success and achieve greatness.
